Author Archives: Davide Bianchini

Hello, my name is Davide Bianchini. I am by no means an authority on everything Catholic, but I have been fortunate enough to have been given an insatiable desire for the writings of the saints (and secondarily, Church history), which I have studied through much of my adult life, as well as philosophy and theology in seminary. I have come to believe that the writings of the saints are a key component to the proper formation of Catholics. And I have made it one of my goals to faithfully reflect their mind in all my writings. They were, in short, the most well-formed Catholics to walk this earth. And thus they show us how to be Catholic in the deepest sense of the word. It is my hope that this website will help convey the mind of the Church---encapsulated by the saints and popes---in a simple way, by engaging the current events and questions of our time.
